Bio

At home conducting national tours, playing in a Broadway pit, or music directing regional theatre, Charlie Reuter is known for his brilliant contribution and positive energy to the process of music making.

His work often goes beyond the theatre as an educator, as well as a long-standing partner of the Walt Disney Company.

He studied orchestral conducting at Juilliard and holds an MFA from San Diego State University.

He conducted the national tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, was associate conductor for The Prince of Egypt (Tuacahn) and Dreamgirls (The Muny), and worked with Trevor Nunn to adapt an original score for Pericles (2016 Drama Desk nominated for Outstanding Music in a Play).
